Amazonia [Blu-ray] [Region B]

Opis:

BASED ON A TRUE STORY! Possibly...On the day of her 18th birthday, young Englishwoman Catherine Miles – Elvira Audray (Ironmaster) – and her Brazilian-based parents travel down the mighty Amazon river. But their boat is attacked, her parents murdered and Catherine is carried off by Indians, deep into the savage jungle – and a world few white people have ever seen. This is the story of what she found; not just the primitive violence she abhorred but also the untamed passion...Made with the anthropological accuracy and commitment to sensitivity you expect from Italian jungle movies (i.e. none at all), Amazonia – sometimes known as White Slave – features head severing, unpleasant ritual punishments and more nudity than is strictly necessary: everything, then, that a fan of the genre could ask for!Now beautifully restored in 4K, 'the green inferno' has never looked so lush – or so dangerous.• 4K Remaster from the Original Negatives• High Definition (1080p) Blu-ray presented in original 1.85:1 Aspect Ratio• English DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono• Italian DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono with English Subtitles• English Subtitles• Audio Commentary by Film Critics Eugenio Ercolani and Nanni Cobretti• Nothing to be Ashamed Of - Interview with Composer Franco Campanino• The Man From the High Crane - Interview with Camera Operator Federico Del Zoppo• Capitalizing On Cannibals - Interview with Expert Eugenio Ercolani• Body Trade in Amazonia - Visual Essay by Rachael Nisbet• No Meat on these Bones - Visual Essay by Mike Foster• Ecological With the Truth - Visual Essay by The Nasty Pasty• Original Trailer
