His blond wig and eccentriclifestyle, and the wild goings-on at his legendary Factory became his trademarks. He turned art into amarketable and reproducible commodity. Designer, artist, film-maker, music producer and publisher to some he was a genius, to others a shallow epigone. Kim Evans portrays the controversial phenomenon and human 'total artwork' that was Warhol.
