About the Artist
Stayed Awake All Night / The Best Of Krokus is a 1989 ‘best of’ compilation album by the Swiss hard rock/heavy metal band Krokus. It features a collection of hits focused on the band’s guitar-rich jams from 1982 to 1986. With their soaring guitar solos and drum-and-guitar rhythms, Krokus can be put in the ranks of other big acts of their time, such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Some of the singles featured on this album include “Screaming in the Night”, “Long Stick Goes Boom” and “Ballroom Blitz”. This best of album contains artwork by Mark Ryden, who is also known as “the godfather of pop surrealism” and mastered the Lowbrow style. He previously designed artwork for Aerosmith’s Love In An Elevator, Michael Jackson’s Dangerous, and One Hot Minute by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Stayed Awake All Night / The Best Of Krokus is for the first time available on vinyl as a limited edition on translucent green & white marbled vinyl and includes an insert. Tracklist: Side A: 1. Headhunter 2. Eat The Rich 3. Long Stick Goes Boom 4. Screaming In The Night 5. American Woman Side B: 1. Midnite Maniac 2. Ballroom Blitz 3. Stayed Awake All Night 4. Our Love 5. School’s Out
