For more than 20 years we have made music together in many different contexts including duets, but until now, no release has ever been issued in this most intimate of settings. The fact is, for more than 20 years, we have actually used music as an excuse to get together to eat, drink and joke... to celebrate life... to tell tales and make prophecies. Over the years, the composition Voices has become our signature piece, and it shows up in virtually every performance. People universally find something in it that is reminiscent of their own culture, like a memory or a dream. That's quite a remarkable tribute. This recording is a dream given form, a dialogue between two brothers telling jokes and cating and drinking the food of life.
