Renee Knight is a British writer, screenwriter, director and producer of art documentaries. She worked for the BBC and left her job only after the babies were born. When the children went to school, she devoted herself entirely to writing. In 2016, the book "Disclaimer" was included in the list of finalists for the British Award for Best Detective and the list of nominees for the award for debut. Documentary director Catherine Ravenscroft finds a mysterious novel, and from that moment her life turns into horror. This is a threat, but from whom? The book "The Perfect Stranger" vividly and in detail depicts the events of that terrible day when Catherine became a hostage of mystery. This secret, apart from her, was known only to one person, and that person is dead. Catherine is haunted by the past, her world is gradually collapsing. All that remains is to return to the events of that terrible day, even if the terrible truth turns out to be devastating for a woman...
