The japanese singer Shizuru Ohtaka and the composer, guitar player and arranger Michiaki Kato founded the extraordinary group DIDO. Western pop and rock structures with japanese traditional music and ethnical sounds are the carrying elements in the production "KSANA". The classically trained mezzosoprano singer Shizuru Ohtaka has recorded countless CD productions, but also commercial jingles, earning her title "the voice of the seven colors". Ohtaka has stablished a niche for herself on the popmusic fringe, developing a unique style combining singing, speech, and vocal effects and often singing in an imaginary "stateless" language.
