The Characters expansion for Obsession, which transforms the passing turn to include visits to unique characters in and around Derbyshire. The Dowager Marchioness, Constable, and Reverend have the abilities to solve your worst Obsession problems: a lack of prestige guests, too many embarrassing and unsavoury visitors, hopeless objectives, and a shortage of servants.

The Characters expansion completes this mitigation journey by proactively empowering you to:

• Consult your Reverend: Exchange objective cards when your current objectives are hopeless. 
• Send for the Constable: Dismiss all local negative guests from your activity, hand, and discard pile (sorry, American Heiresses aren't local!).
• Schmooze the Dowager Marchioness: Access the prestige guest deck with screened invites.
• Sneak into Higbee's Second Chance Domestics: Quickly and easily hire valets, lady's maids, and footmen who, while entirely lacking references, can still serve in a pinch. Can't they? The rest of the staff won't be happy.
