The 48-piece Magformers Carnival Plus Set is launched in 2021 as an upgrade to one of its best-selling sets, which has been copied by numerous ‘fakers’. This new set contains improved fairground ride accessories and new figures. There’s a sturdy crosshatch base which the characters can be attached to, and clip-on ride leg supports can also be added which make building rides super fun and easy. Hexagon clip-on panels spin vertically and horizontally and there are two cute detachable characters with swappable helmet toppers (previous set characters were fixed in). An instructional booklet and guide shows how to make 13 different fairground rides. Also makes mathematical 2D nets and 3D models like tetrahedrons etc.
